Law and Order episode on “street revenge“ (season 13) is all about a serial rapist. The special victims unit is to track down a SoHo rapist. Local gangs and neighborhood vigilance groups seem to work in vain. The main characters in this episode are Danny Pino as Detective Nick Amaro, Ice-T as Detective Odafin “Fin” Tutuola, Richard Belzer as Sergeant John Munch, Dann Florek as Captain Don Cragen and Kelli Giddish as Detective Amanda Rollins.

The crime at hand is that of rape by SoHo rapist. There is a rapist on the loose. Victim’s account of his appearance is that of a hooded man. One victim Clair describes him as being white taking into account his speech. However, the rapist is on a mission. His main goal is not just to satisfy his sexual urges, he is out to be proclaimed as a hero.

The detectives Amaro, Cragen, and the rest go on a manhunt for him. They take time in interrogating witness to get clues. On the other hand, they ask the community to be vigilant and the females not to walk unaccompanied at night. The news reporter, however, seems to be hampering their efforts. Various interrogations happen in the SVU. Take, for instance, when Rollins and Amaro speak to Stuart on why he beat up Henry. At other times, they question their victims at hospital to get the firsthand account.

The witness Clair described the rapist as being hooded and said that he could be white. This is with respect to the way he talked. At the time of his attack, he had a knife. With this in mind, the detective took some DNA hit of the blood at the scene. The apprehension of various suspects such as Henry lead the detectives into a frantic chase to end the case.

Law and Order episode titled “Official Story” (season thirteen) is action packed episodes. The special victims unit is thrown into an array of several cases; among them is the killing of a CEO of a big company, protest, a rape case, and even attempted murder of the father of the raped victim. Special victims unit involves itself in the investigations of the cover up of rape cases by Rand’s company. O'Keefe already gave them the motive, and it should be up to his defense to determine whether that motive mitigates the crime he committed. However, in the SVU’s investigation on this, there are flaws, and a witness was killed in a hotel room.

During the SVU’s investigation on who attacked Rand, they conduct a historical background check on his life. They take into account how he built his company and try to diecover whether he is terrorist target. The detectives also question one of the protestors. They ask where he was at six o’clock the previous night. Later, Fin and Amaro interrogate Donald on what happened. Donald decides to pull the tactics of “let us make a deal”. In a grand jury, Dr. Rausch is questioned concerning the examination on Cory.

At a bakery, the detectives speak to Donald’s daughter concerning a rape case. She narrated ordeal with rapist. The major crime at hand is that of violence on citizens and rape.
